James has been in Funeral Service for over 50 years and is a graduate of John A. Gupton School in Nashville, TN where he received his Associates degree. He has resided in the Paducah area for 34 years. Jim and his family attend First Christian Church in Paducah. Jim currently serves as Treasurer of the Paducah Ambassadors and is an active member in the Paducah Lions Club.
James Neal McWaters - Funeral Director and Embalmer
Neal is a former resident of Marshall County and a graduate of Marshall County High School. He graduated from Mid- America College of Mortuary Science in 1986. Neal has nearly 30 years experience in the funeral industry. He has been a full-time employee of Roth Funeral Chapel since April, 2011. In his free time, Neal likes to be outdoors at his farm, or out on his boat.
Tom Butler - Funeral Assistant
Tom Butler is a former news anchor and executive at WPSD-TV in Paducah.
He is enjoying his retirement after 36 years in television news with a
total of 42 years in broadcast news. He continues to keep his hand in
the business with occasional commercials and video narration. Tom also
does occasional commentary for Greg Dunker’s early-morning radio showon
WKYX Paducah. Tom is married to the former Janice Gamblin. He has two
children, Tom Butler, Jr. and Amy Butler. He has two grandchildren,
Lauren Barrow and Randall Barrow II. Tom is a 45-year member of East
Baptist Church in Paducah, where he currently serves as choir director.
